Recomposition Protocol
16 weeks
Retatrutide triple-agonist protocol for metabolic optimisation, visceral fat reduction, and lean mass preservation. As a first-in-class GIP/GLP-1/Glucagon triple receptor agonist, Retatrutide drives appetite regulation through central satiety pathways, increases energy expenditure via the glucagon receptor, and promotes hepatic fat oxidation. Phase 2 data showed 24.2% mean body weight reduction at 48 weeks.
Weekly Schedule
Weeks 1โ4
Retatrutide: 2 mg once weekly subcutaneous (dose titration phase).
Weeks 5โ8
Retatrutide: 4 mg once weekly subcutaneous.
Weeks 9โ12
Retatrutide: 6 mg once weekly subcutaneous.
Weeks 13โ16+
Retatrutide: 8 mg once weekly (maintenance). Assess and adjust as needed.
Important Notes
- โReconstitute 10mg vial with 1mL BAC water for ~10 mg/mL concentration.
- โInject subcutaneously in the abdomen, rotating sites weekly.
- โSlow dose titration is essential to manage GI adaptation.
- โOnce-weekly dosing โ administer on the same day each week.
- โFor volumes >1.0 mL, split into 2 injections at different sites.
- โFor research and laboratory purposes only.
