LC216 — L-Carnitine / B12 / B6 / Choline Blend
Dosing & administration protocol
Quick Reference
Overview
LC216 is a compounded injectable lipotropic blend combining L-Carnitine, Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin), Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine), and Choline. L-Carnitine transports long-chain fatty acids into mitochondria for beta-oxidation; B12 and B6 support erythropoiesis, neurological function, and macronutrient conversion; Choline facilitates hepatic fat export via VLDL synthesis. Research applications include energy metabolism, fat utilisation, and micronutrient repletion studies.
Dosing & Reconstitution Guide
| Phase | Daily Dose | Units | Volume |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weeks 1–4 | 1 mL per injection, 2× per week | 2 mL/week | 1.0 mL per dose |
| Weeks 5–8 | 1.5 mL per injection, 2× per week | 3 mL/week | 1.5 mL per dose |
| Weeks 9–12 (optional) | 2 mL per injection, 3× per week | 6 mL/week | 2.0 mL per dose |
Reconstitution Instructions
LC216 is supplied as a ready-to-use sterile solution — no reconstitution is required.
Inspect the vial for discolouration or particulate matter; discard if compromised.
Draw 1–2 mL using a sterile syringe and appropriate gauge needle.
Administer intramuscularly or subcutaneously; IM is preferred for faster absorption.
Swab injection site with alcohol and allow to dry before injecting.
Note the date of first use on the vial and discard per label instructions.

Supplies Needed
- ✓LC216 Vials: 2–3 vials
- ✓Sterile 3 mL Syringes: 16 syringes
- ✓Injection Needles (23–25 G): 16 needles
- ✓Alcohol Swabs: 32 swabs
- ✓Sharps Container: 1
Dosing Protocol
Schedule
Administer 2–3 times per week on non-consecutive days. Consistent spacing between injections maintains more stable plasma B-vitamin and carnitine levels.
Cycle Length
8–12 weeks, followed by a 4-week break. B12 and B6 accumulate with repeated dosing; a rest period prevents hypervitaminosis B6 in longer protocols.
Route
Intramuscular injection into gluteus, deltoid, or vastus lateralis. Subcutaneous injection into the abdomen or thigh is a suitable alternative.
Storage & Handling
- ✓Refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35.6–46.4 °F); do not freeze.
- ✓Protect from light — B12 and B6 are photosensitive; store in opaque packaging.
- ✓Discard if solution changes colour (B12 should appear pink-red; cloudy or brown solution indicates degradation).
- ✓Once opened, use within the period specified on the vial label.
Important Notes
- ✓All products sold by JA Performance Peptides are intended strictly for laboratory research purposes and are not approved for human consumption, veterinary use, or therapeutic application. Not for human use.
- ✓Use a new sterile syringe and needle for each injection.
- ✓Rotate injection sites each session; record site and volume in a research log.
- ✓High-dose Vitamin B6 supplementation over extended periods has been associated with peripheral neuropathy; adhere to recommended cycle lengths.
- ✓LC216 is commonly paired with caloric restriction and exercise protocols in metabolic research — isolated effects of the blend may be difficult to distinguish.
